Description: comic book fanzine: THE COMIC WORLD #14; produced by long time fan Robert Jennings; aprox 8-1/2x11"; saddle stitched; 40 pages; photo offset; 1970; issue is brand new in Fine condition is rust on staples. Comic fanzine produced by one of the original first members of comic book fandom. The motto of the fanzine was any subject worth writing about was worth covering in depth and detail. There was long gap (like about seven years) between issue #13 and this, issue #14 due to Jennings moving to New Hampshire from Tennessee due to a job promotion. This issue features a long article and cover on the original Black Terror by Jennings, an article on public reaction to the initial golden age popularity of comic books and the alarm they caused among many adults, an article on golden age artist Alex Shomberg, many illustrations by popular fan artist Alan Hutchinson, plus regular columns. The issue is new in Fine condition with rust on the staples. Shipping for this item is $4.50. I accept payment thru eBay. If you have any questions contact me by email during normal business hours.
