Description: Offered for Sale is this Vintage 1970 Book and Lithograph Set, "DAMN EVERYTHING BUT THE CIRCUS", by Corita Kent, Signed, in GUC. Please read the above for the item's description & condition, and please refer to my photos. This set was available both unsigned & limited-edition signed. This was her sixth book. The slip case roughly measures 10-7/8" x 1" x 11". The hardcover book has 60 pages, and Kent's signature and heart graphic in ink is on an inner fly leaf. There are a total of 29) lithographs: 28) measure 10-1/2" x 10-1/2", and 1), a double sheet, measures 21" x 10-1/2". Four are "introduction" lithographs, the others all represent the letters of the alphabet, with the letters "G" & "O" are on the double sheet lithograph. All the colors are brilliant. Every lithograph would look incredible framed. Corita Kent is one of the more underrated artists of the Pop Art movement; her works are unique in that she combined religion & philosophy in her prints at a time when organized religion, like so many other social pillars, was undergoing major changes in the 1960's and 1970's.
