Hearing this, all of those who had allied themselves with Deimos initially realize that they are in the wrong, and agree to unite with the others against him. Yolanda, meanwhile, has a revelation: Deimos is still afraid of Telos. She can smell his fear. Telos responds that Deimos and his allies should fear him, restraining them with his power. Whatever he had been before, he is still connected to this planet, and it is his power to wield. He captures Deimos and demands that he reveal his true name, but the sorcerer will not give it up, and breaks free of his bonds, only to be blasted by Parallax's ring. Hal grimaces that Deimos wields power for selfish reasons, when it could be used to save and revive lives, like those he lost in Coast City. Coldly, he blasts Deimos into dust.Telos worries that given the absolute power over all history that Deimos had acquired from the Time Masters, his death means that power has been released. That energy builds into a powerful blast that rips through the Oracle.
