Description: De Rosa Professional road bike, 57cm - 1983 Experience the rich tradition of Italian cycling with the 1983 De Rosa Professional, a vintage masterpiece designed by Ugo De Rosa. Constructed with lightweight Columbus SL steel tubing, this 57cm bike combines style, performance, and craftsmanship. With its charming patina, the elegant black pearl frame offers a nod to years of adventure on the road. Key features: Frame & fork: Columbus SL steel, 57cm, black pearl finish with patina Wheels: Campagnolo Record hubs, Ambrosio 700c rims, Goodyear Eagle F1 tires Brakes: Modolo Professional caliper brakes and levers Cockpit: Cinelli bars and stem, Selle Italia Turbo saddle, Benotto tape Drivetrain: Campagnolo Super Record derailleurs and crankset, Simplex shifters Pedals: Sold separately Mechanic's notes: The bike is pre-owned and is considered to be in good condition. The bike has been completely overhauled with new grease, bearings, and components torqued to manufacturer specifications. The bike has new cables, housing, chain, tires, tubes, bar tape, and brake hoods. The wheelset is hand built with brand-new DT Swiss spokes and nipples. There are areas on the fork crown with missing chrome plating and some minor corrosion where the plating is absent. There is minor corrosion on the top tube near the braze-on cable guides and some paint wear on the top tube due to contact with the brake cable. The Modolo brake pads in the front and rear show moderate wear. The Cinelli handlebar surface finish is scratched on the non-drive side where bike computers and accessories may have been mounted. The inside of the frame tubes have been coated with LPS 3 rust inhibitor.
