I grade fairly and honestly using the Goldmine grading standards for vinyl and VJM grading for shellac (78's). I use new record mailers and protect the album cover and vinyl (separated in a poly sleeve to avoid seam splits) with heavy 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 corrugated pads.
