Description: For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a great condition Ebel Sportwave World Dial GMT timepiece. This fine timepiece in the opaline (light silvery white), dark gray and pop of orange colorway is a killer set-up that is very much a tool watch capable of dual time-zone duties. This one makes an impressive, masculine statement on the wrist and this is an increasingly rare timepiece with a super-strong... almost cult-like... following. That translates into stronger than normal appreciable value. There are two or three of these references however similar to the Explorer II by that company with the crown emblem, this white dial reference is the most desirable for collectors and appreciation value. Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include: 1. This watch is beefy at 43mm works well on a medium to large male wrist. I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 6+3/8 inches in circumference and larger. I have an average size wrist and this watch works from a size perspective. It definitely makes a statement and is classically oversized. It wears true to form, will fit up to a 7+1/4" wrist (no additional links) and makes an oversized statement on the wrist. It is classicly handsome, a touch retro and very much for a world traveler conneisseur of rare, uber cool and fine timepieces2. This is an understated but clearly mission-driven timepiece --- it is an impressive, bold statement while not being "flashy" or gaudy. Quite the opposite actually. The dial, bezel and crystal interplay makes this watch as it beautiful, in a sort tool mission-driven kind of way. Made for travel and the week-end but equally interesting when worn with a suit. 3. As you can see on the pictures, the dial is extremely clear and makes reading the time, including the second time zone (orange hand and 24 hour inner rehaut), very easy. And there is a relatively discreet date function which is of course set to the local or main time (hours, minutes and seconds) of where the wearer is currently thriving. 4. These Sportwave bracelets are substantial and super-comfortable. This is one that I like to throw on and head out the door. I wear it about one time a month because I frankly love it. While it has a stated 100m water resistance, this is not really a dive watch as there is no rotating bezel, helium release valve, diver's extension on the bracelet, or lume on the second hand. Think of this as truly great "all around sport watch" that is probably best suited to the world of aviation and travel. 5. This is a medium large GMT World-Timer watch that will last decades. Ebel would not have it any other way as that company is all about classic durability, fine Swiss watchmaking and value. 6. This watch is aimed for somebody who wants something unique, bold and high-quality who likely wants a durable, reliable watch and who values those qualities. 7. Fantstic box and collateral as pictured. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.
