Description: Here is a wonderful Edison Diamond Disc record, #50172, circa 1915. James Whitcome Riley (I assume) recites "The Raggedy Man" and several more of his poems. Mr. Riley (1849 - 1916) was known as the "Hoosier Poet". He was a poet, author, and lecturer. He wrote "Little Orphan Annie" and about 1,000 other poems. Nice recitation, and the record plays well with little surface noise. Tough record to find, don't pass it up! $5.50 media mail postage and handling fee.
