Featuring the inlaid initials ILN on the top, it has a curved tab lift and hinged lid - interior is fitted with sections measuring 2-1/2"wide by 3-5/8" deep. Condition is very nice with no chips, cracks, splits, staining, discoloration or damage - the burl has lovely graining. Believe it was designed to hold individual sets of playing cards, but would work perfectly for cigarettes or similar items. Just a handsome vintage box - lovely addition to any collection!
