Description: Offering for sale are a pair of Era/Peachtree Design D14 in Rosewood finish floor standing speakers. If you've never heard of Era Design speakers, they were designed and voiced by Michael Kelly of Aerial Acoustics for Era Design which later became part of Peachtree Acoustics. They are heavy beasts, solidly built cabinets with heavy magnets. Each D14 weighs 72lb. The bass is tight and quick. They create a wonderfully deep and wide soundstage. The treble is smooth with the silk dome tweeters, similar to Dynaudio speakers. The finish is matte rosewood and is overall in good condition. Very minor signs of use on one speaker cabinet, see photos. Sold new for $2500 pair.
