Description: The etched, glass top is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks. The weighted sterling silver base has a few bottom rim dents which are very difficult to see unless the compote is upside down. I will leave the polishing to the lucky new owner. The compote weighs 1 pound 7 ounces. The top of the compote is screwed to the base, as shown in the last photo. The base alone weighs 8 ounces.
