Penned under the "Thomas Brown, the Younger" and dedicated to Lord Byron. This particular copy found its way to America in the late 19th century where it was rebacked and bound in half-leather with marbled boards and endpapers. TEG. and a ribbon sewn in as a bookmark. 12 mo. By R. (Robert) W. Smith who was a binder in New York City. I was lucky enough to purchase 40 assorted like vols. primarily 18-19 century British imprints. His name stamp is on the endpaper of the front board.
