Description: Vintage Finn Fashions by Stampe maxi A-line tunic dress. 100% cotton textile printed by hand in Finland. Approximately 1960's or 1970's. Features a red-pink gradient of horizontal stripes on front that converge into a chevron in back. Unlined. The selvedge contains a wealth of information. It reads: "Printed by E Helenius Oy Sateenkaari Design Pirkko Aimo Fin-Helen". Nehru collar. 7/8 length sleeves. There is no size tag. Best estimate, it fits a modern XS/S. It is a woven fabric, on the heavy side, with no stretch. Please reference these approximate measurements to determine fit:Bust 17.75" across flatWaist 17.5" across flatHips 19" across flatShoulder seam to seam 14"Center back length 52" This dress is in good structural condition, with signs of age and wear like stains, spotting and fade. These flaws are sprinkled throughout, and generally over-powered by the bold and bright design. All seams are intact, and there are no holes. Please see photos to understand the following flaws: There is a cluster of small reddish stains at the back of the knee area, circled in photo and shown again in close-up. Fading and yellow discoloration on the inside neck facing and outer edge of collar; also fading and yellowing at the hem edge. The lightest pink band that runs across the upper body is also slightly yellowed. The hem edge has light fabric wear and small discolored spots all around. The dress has mild overall wash fade to the colors, but still presents well. The close-up photos have the most accurate color representation. Free shipping to the US via USPS Priority (insured).
