Description: This ethereal vase may be French or Italian. Similar vintage pieces are identified with Portieux Vallerysthal (France), as well as Nason & Moretti (Murano, Italy), 1950s. Lovely translucent blue with gilt ormolu beaded ring edge. Measures about 3-5/8" diameter (top); 3" diameter base; 6-1/8" high. [9.2 cm diameter (top); 7.6 cm diameter base; 15.6 cm high] Excellent condition. Hint of use with slight white clouding (mineral deposit) inside. Edging has barely any wear. Tiny bubbles and straw marks original to the glass. From smoke free home.
