Pairing quality valves and bell has made for a very nice result of responsive smooth maneuverable valves and stable center of tone and beautiful Yamaha bell projection and colorful tone. Quality built instruments with a brand new bell for under $1000 is unheard of for a quality step up intermediate semi-pro model trumpet. Pros may even consider this as an affordable and flat out cheap “back up” or doubler if you are an multi-instrumentalist of brass.
