No markings but looks correct6 Column - Black Marbled Trim - Lion Head Ornaments - Large feet Finished in black and buffed to a mirror finish Gold inlay finish on the front All matching hardware - Large ornate feet - Ornate column base and capitals - Lion head sides - Brass toned The lion head are some of best I ever seen. Cast not stampedAll hardware is original to the case and re-done in a brass tone I have not altered the case in any way from the original but appears to have been repaired at some time Case is ready to accept a mechanical movement (alignment will be necessary) or, if you prefer, a quartz movement.Appropriate dial and bezel will be required for your choice of movement Dial opening is 5" Clock has been completely dis-assembled, cleaned of all tobacco, coal, and residue, buffed and polished, re-assembledand waxed to protect the finish.I did not refinish the back cover due to the only label on the piece. I'll leave that to you to decide While the case is in good condition, there are flaws and nicks - It is not perfect after about 110 years The top has some markings probably from something sitting on it for a while Sill a very nice example of an earlt mantel clock Large clock that measures 17 1/4" wide across the front feet x 7" deep across the feet x 10 3/4" high
