Description: A gorgeous antique Art Deco solid 18k gold and platinum, sapphire and diamond floral gemstone cluster ring. This beautiful Art Deco platinum topped solid 18k yellow gold floral-form ring has the most stunning bezel-set oval faceted natural sapphire at it's center which glows the most intense deep ocean blues when it touches the light, the sapphire surrounded by a halo of 10 sparkling old brilliant cut natural diamonds which frame the sapphire beautifully, the ring has a raised gallery with pretty pierced decorations and a classic band-so elegant and beautiful! The ring is marked '18CT PLAT' inside the band. The ring tests for 18k gold. The ring is approximately a size 8 1/4. The ring measures approximately 11mm x 8mm across the face. The sapphire measures about 5.5mm x 3.5mm x 2.3mm or about 1/3 carat. The diamonds measure about 1mm. The ring rises approximately 5mm above the finger and weighs approximately 2.8 grams. The ring is in very good condition with all over light general wear, seen under a loupe the sapphire has a couple of scratches and rubbing around the facets. The ring has been resized.
