Description: Up for sale in this auction is a gorgeous M. A. Hadley Pottery SNOWMAN Chip & Dip Appetizer or Hors D'oeuvre Platter. This stunning Snowman Platter is about 15" in diameter with the central bowl about 7" in diameter and about 2" deep, and the whole platter is about 3" in height. The Platter is one piece and weighs about 5 pounds. It would be a perfect centerpiece for any Holiday Party! This is an extremely rare and beautiful vintage Hadley item and is the only one like it I have ever seen. It is new and has never been used, but it does have a tiny imperfection, so please examine the photos for exact condition. There is a tiny chip in the glaze on the edge of the rim shown in photo 5, which is the only flaw in this fabulous piece, which was clearly painted by one of Hadley's finest artists. The Snowman Chip & Dip Platter was hand made and painted by the Hadley Pottery Company in the USA. It is signed M. A. Hadley on the bottom. Each item is unique! This merchandise was in the inventory of a Hadley dealer whose shop closed in 2008 and has never been used, although it was made in the 2000-2008 era.
