Description: Welcome! I am so happy that you are here, and I hope that you find something beautiful to cherish. Please know that reasonable offers are always considered, and I will provide additional photographs and measurements upon request. I am available to answer any questions you may have, so come say hello! Wishing you love, sunshine and a wonderful day. ♥ Tell Me Something Good: A portion of every sale will benefit the Ujamaa Children’s Home in Tanzania, of which I am a proud sponsor. For more information on my Ujamaa Family, please visit ujamaachildren.com, or find us on Facebook @ujamaatanzaniafoundation. ♥ The One You Have Been Waiting For: Very good condition for age with only a small part of the paper at top right back that has chipped off exposing the white inside paper (see final photograph.) Almost 70 years old, which equals not perfect but only the minor wear you would expect from years of storage. From the 1950s WSM Grand Ole Opry. Made of paper with staples down the side for binding (the bottom one is stapled and holding the book together but not as prominent on the outside cover.) Signed "Hawkshaw WSM" in what looks to be blue or black ink on back but I cannot officially confirm due to the dark orange coloring of the paper. Eight pages inside with printed photographs. I only feature a few here because they are similar but per my standard item description, if you wish for any specific photographs, let me know! The first one is of Hawkshaw with Sonny Boy, his horse. The next three are headshots. The fifth is Hawkshaw riding Sonny Boy. The sixth and seventh are standing half body shots. The final page is the quote and blank space for autographs. JSA authentication sticker at inside bottom right interior back cover. Inherited from my great-aunt, who grew up in Virginia and the same area as many of country music's early stars and be-friended/dated several. A wonderful collector's item. Hawkshaw Hawkins is most-famous for being tragically on the plane that killed Patsy Cline, Cowboy Copas and the agent/pilot. He was country music legend Jean Shepard's husband and had a big hit shortly after his death called "Lonesome 7-7203."
