Description: Unique, One of A Kind, Artist Painted Wooden Mirrored Box. Beautiful. This piece of functional art can be used as jewelry box, shaving box, storage for important papers and keepsakes, or a a make-up box. My Bird of Paradise Wooden Mirror Box is original, hand-painted, signed, and one of a kind. Inside there is a hinged mirror also framed with hand-painted Bird of Paradise flowers. The mirror sets on a ledge at many angles to form a triangle for what ever purpose you choose.The box is approximately 12 1/2" long by 8 3/4" wide and 3 1/2" high. Inside the mirror itself is 8 3/4" by 5 1/4". Under the mirror there is about 1 1/2" deep area for use to place items inside. The top and frame around the mirror were painted with acrylic paints and signed. The rest of the box was stained with a medium wood stain and the entire box inside and out was sprayed with 6 layers of gloss protective coating.Bird of Paradise flowers grow abundantly here in Southern California, but I know they are less common elsewhere.
