The owner of the dog commissioned portrait artist; Howard Proctor (1862 - ?) to memorialize their beloved pet in this awesome pastel original artwork. Signed and dated by the artist 1942. The poem that is taped (with a small piece of tape on the back) is written and signed by poet Agnes Carr). I'm thinking this might have been her dog - not sure.Please note; This is NOT a print - this is an original piece of beautiful artwork. Including the frame this measures 19" x 23".This will be shipped matted and framed and instead of frame GLASS which can easily break, I use plexiglass over the artwork.
