The "Come Back Soon" plate from Danbury Mint features a charming scene from the "Little Companions" collection by M.I. Hummel. This limited edition porcelain plate is one of only 14 firing days and is numbered LV1837. The plate depicts a young girl and boy standing at the door in front of a white picket fence, both waving goodbye. It reflects the attention to detail that is characteristic of Hummel figurines and plates. The plate is further enhanced by a gold rim, making it a beautiful and timeless addition to any Hummel collection. The condition of the plate appears to be like new with no visible defects. The figurines no dates on them, but figurines such as "Wayside Devotion" were made after 1935, into the 40's and later. I am not able to date this figurine, but it has the appearance of age. The angel figurine with the tag of "Hand Painted reproduction" has a similar looking age, buy possibly newer appearance. The Danbury Mint plate is of recent manufacture.
