Description: This is a first pressing of Iggy Pop & The Stooges' album, "The Stooges". The record is in near mint condition (NM or M-), and the sleeve is in excellent condition (EX). This record was pressed in Hamburg, Germany. Rights Society: BMI Rights Society: GEMA Matrix / Runout (Runout hand-etched side A): EKS 74051 A -CP SS Matrix / Runout (Runout hand-etched side B): EKS 74051 B CP SS LH Matrix / Runout (Runout stamped): Manufactured in Germany The record itself is in incredible condition, I've only played it once and kept the record clean. So it plays phenomenally. Truly an incredible piece of proto-punk history. This was obtained at an auction a few years back. Unfortunately it didn't come with the original inner sleeve, but was replaced with an original master MoFi sleeve, which is a high quality anti static and anti scratching sleeve. The overall integrity of the jacket, is in great shape, besides the obvious wear on the corners and a little chipping in the middle of the spine. But there's no splitting at all on any of the sides of the jacket. Overall a fantastic copy for being 55 years old and all the way from Europe. It sure got to the US in great shape for sure.
