Description: This listing is for a set of six antique demitasse cups and saucers circa 1850 by James Green and Nephew, Queen Victoria's St. Pauls mark. The pattern is hand-painted (no dots) blackberries, blossoms and leaves on a celadon background and gilt trim. These hand-painted pieces look identical, but have the tiniest variation to authenticate the hand painted design. This is an early mark and pieces are in excellent lightly used condition. The saucers measure 5 1/2" in diameter and the cups measure 2 3/8" X 2 3/8". James Green & Nephew was in the china business from 1834-1874 and these were early marks. Other pieces matching these pieces are available.
