Description: Here we have for sale a Japy Freres, France, porcelain mantel clock with a polychrome porcelain urn depicting a couple in a field. The clock sits on top of a gilt bronze base, gilt top is consisting of leaves and acorns, side pieces in the shape of dragons. The clock has beveled glass encompassing a white enamel dial with arabic numerals and steel hands. The Japy Frere 8 day time and strike movement with trademark and serial 21392. The painting on the urn is in fair condition and retains its colors . It does show some crackling but no chips, major cracks or breakage. The bronze pieces have some oxidation. One of the dragon pieces is loose needs to be tighten. The dial is in fair condition as with the hands. The movement will need cleaning but otherwise appears in good condition.
