Description: This Golden Age, Joe Palooka comic, is a piece of vintage history that will make a great addition to any collection. Published by Family Comics, Inc. (Pres. Alfred Harvey) vol. 2 #4, May/June 1946 in the United States. A great find for collectors of comics and memorabilia. Includes stories within the W.W. II era. The comic is not professionally graded. But here's what I can say... Condition: It displays great vivid color on the cover as it does on the inside. There's a dealer pencil marking at the top of the cover page (this does not take away from the condition). The spine and outer edge are curled along with the bottom edge due to someone rolling the book (see pictures). The spine and staples look great for its age, a couple, very light stress lines. Back cover has some upper edge light stain. Tiny bottom chip at spine. At inside, center page upper staple is not holding but bottom is nice and tight. Pages have the normal age tanning/ browning. It may make a VG+/FN- ? Maybe more? Maybe less. Anyway, I not a professional grader. So you be the judge. Check out all the pictures and you decide. Ask any questions before you bid or purchase.
