Description: A finely carved custom mahogany console table from Joseph Gerte in Boston MA, with conforming shaped top surmounting a case three fitted frieze drawers with cross banded veneers and round punched brass pulls, the center of which is fitted for silver flatware with felt liners. The frieze is adorned with carved flowers, and each of the six reeded legs has carved acanthus capitals, terminating with nicely carved feet. The Gerte name is branded inside the silver drawer, and the console comes with a custom glass top. Dates to the mid 20th century in very good overall condition, with minimal imperfections and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 36 in H x 60.5 in W x 20.5 in D.
