KITCHEN APRON w/POCKETS from VTG-STRAWBERRIES on Trellis-TABLECLOTH/Red Gingham

Description: Welcome to my Store, this listing is for a pretty Half Kitchen APRON with Pockets at both side recently handmade using one half of a vintage and preowned 100% cotton printed Tablecloth made in USA with a print of Strawberries hanging from a Trellis, that print is still in great shape, only the darker shades inside the strawberries are hard to see, maybe was print like that because all the other colors are still bright, the original piece had a brown round stain the was cover with the left-side pocket - check the pictures -, I used that fabric for the body of the Apron, the extra long tiebacks/sashes were made with a brand new pearly white cotton fabric and the rest were made with the classic 1/4" red and white medium weight gingham fabric - waistband and border hem where I added a jumbo dark green rickrack for a cute accent, this Apron is in excellent gift condition, the fabric is very strong, the color is creamy white, have no holes or bad odors, the original tablecloth was soak, wash and press with no starch before the sewing was done. - apron Skirt is 19.5 inches long without counting the waistband and 42.5 inches wide around the skirt- waistband is 20.75 inches long and 1.5 inches wide- tiebacks are 45.5 inches long in each side and 1.5 inches wide- pockets are 7.25 inches high by 6 inches wide. I really love to rescue old vintage linens and up-cycled them in others kind of useful items,the original fabric from the Tablecloth is medium weight - totally different from the Wilendur kind of fabrics -, this pretty Apron was made in a Mid-century fashion style and because of the long tiebacks will fit almost all Misses sizes, can be use every day if you want and is the perfect Mother's Day gift for Ladies in love with real vintage linens and a wonderful decor accent in a Farmhouse/Country Kitchen, everybody will love it!
