Description: Thrifting find. Vintage Lalique crystal rooster head figurine, signed on the base Lalique (R) France. Stands about 7" tall and is about 6.5" across and 3" wide. I understand this also is referred to as a Lalique car mascot, paperweight, or hood ornament. I also understand it was originally produced in 1928 and was reissued in later years. I don't know the age of this piece, but I was advised by a fellow Ebayer that it is likely from the late 1980s to 1990s. Please know that I'm not knowledgeable about vintage Lalique glass, so I hope the photos will tell you what you want to know. There are scratches to the base underside as shown, and the rooster's beak feels a little rough at the very tip - I believe there is a tiny chip. I tried to show this area in the last few photos, but it's quite hard to see. Substantial, heavy solid crystal, weighing well over three pounds. Please take a look at the photos, and let me know if you have any questions. Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage. I pack with utmost care and lots of bubble wrap.
