This perfectly proportioned piece has been masterfully hand painted with vibrantly coloured scenes featuring two elaborately dressed Sumarai figures contained in panels to opposing sides atop an intricate brocade ground. Raised white, black and gold Moriage enamels adds fabulous definition to the design while beautifully enhancing the tactileness of this impressive piece. Striking decorative bands trim the neck and foot creating a perfectly balanced and wonderfully harmonious piece which is a delight to behold. SIZE: This impressive example stands approx 12 inches or 310mms tall and measures 160mms in diameter. WEIGHT: This substantial piece weighs 1.330 kgs unpackaged. CONDITION: This stunning piece is presented in very good antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
