Description: Large Blue-Green Tourmaline Crystal in Muscovite Mica Mineral Specimen - Nuristan, Afghanistan This is a super Tourmaline specimen from Nuristan in Afghanistan. The specimen has one large blue-green Tourmaline crystal measuring approximately 32mm in length and 20mm diameter which is a dark blue-green in the centre with a paler outer edge. There are a few other smaller Tourmaline crystals around the piece on the shiny Muscovite Mica matrix. The specimen as a whole weighs 224g and measures 7.5cm x 6.5cm x 4.5cm. (All weights and measures are approximate). It is a beautiful piece which would appeal equally to collectors or to display in the home.
