Description: Large studio ceramic art Pottery bowl by Holly Sears (listed MA artist - Brookline, MA). It has the funky typical Sears hand-painted designs of birds, cats, fish and other creatures inside and out and is in good overall condition with no cracks. There are about 5 glaze flakes to the rim; most are quite small though there is a larger one on the exterior just below the rim. It's shallow and all could likely be concealed/minimized. There are also 2 small similar glaze flakes on the foot beneath her signature. Due to the placement of all these flakes, you could position the bowl on a shelf or table with almost all of them hidden from a front looking view. There is also some crazing to the glaze but not heavy or offensive in my opinion. My pricing reflects these flaws. The bowl is slightly oblong - 6.75" h x 12-7/8" diameter. The foot is 5-3/8" diameter. It will weigh about 6-7 lbs packed safely. Local pickup most welcome.
