Description: Leica M8 Rangefinder Digital Camera, Case, Charger. Parts (please read) Listed here is a Leica M8 digital camera. The camera has an issue where the shutter fires but will never record to SD card, and intermittently when SD card is inserted it will flash SD error. I have used the camera for about 5 months and one day the issue arose when shooting. I have tried multiple SD cards and issue has not resolved. The camera may have an electronic board issue. Camera is in cosmetically good shape, but the leatherette is peeling and has a tiny dent on the rear panel. There is some dust in the viewfinder. Please see photos for accurate condition. I included a photo of the shutter count, which is around 15000 clicks, and an image I took with the camera a few months ago before the issue occurred. I included a brown leather case with a wrist strap, a third party battery, and third party charger. The battery will last about 300 clicks as it is new. The LCD display on top is operational and displays battery level. Due to electronic issue with the camera I am selling as is for parts or repair. Please let me know if you have any questions.
