This is an exceptional piece made from a graduated strand of faceted orbs of crystal which are undrilled and individually caged in gold! The crystal orbs graduate from approximately 13mm, up to 22mm at the largest central bead! Each orb is also capped in beautiful and delicate gold filigree caps. The workmanship is outstanding! This necklace measures approximately 21 1/2" long in overall wearable length. It weighs 134 grams on my digital scale.This piece is in overall EXCELLENT antique condition! It is finished with a yellow gold tube clasp. The clasp is marked 14K on the tongue. Because of the extremely strict rules with "eBay authenticity guarantee", and the fact that old gold can vary in purity and I use acid to test, I am not making any claims about purity of the cages.
