Description: Listed American Artist Robert Stockton Rogers* Signed, on lower right, this Dynamic Industrial Factory scene w/ Figures. It is an Original Watercolor on Paper, top mounted onto a backboard. Depicted is a 1940's - '50 factory where two orange pallet trucks moving large items. Workers, at right, are walking down a hall, possibly for lunch or the end of the day. Very Detailed and Linear with a Light and Subtle color palette, contrasting the black outlines of objects.Paper measures 13 3/4 X 17 and is in Good to Very Good Vintage condition.Image opening measures 13 1/4 X 16 1/4 and is in Good to Very Good Vintage condition w/ some minor waviness.Outside measure of the mat is 20 1/4 X 23 1/4 and is in Fair to Good Vintage condition w/ a damaged lower right corner, scuffs and some minor surface dirt. The mat is articulated (folds up & down - see 2nd and 3rd to last images)Please carefully examine all images for condition. *Robert Stockton Rogers (1896-1959) was born in Burrton, Kansas. He studied at the Fairmount Conservatory in Wichita, the Art Institute of Chicago, the American Art Academy, and with Allen Philbrick, and Harry Timmons. He died on 1959.
