Description: Group of four student publications titled "The Radiator" published by Somerville MA high school in 1944-45. What makes this collectible is the high school art of Lew Gifford who went on to be the illustrator of the Trix Rabbit and Schoolhouse Rock, among other highly recognizable art and animation. Another artist to figures prominently in this publication was Bill Hanley who went on to be the artist for the Boston Globe for 44 years. All 4 issues are complete and in great condition. No pieces missing no ripped pages, no splitting of the spine. Everything completely attached. The January 1945 issue does have some discoloration from age. Issues are October 1944, January March and April 1945.
