Description: Up for your consideration is a hand painted M.A. Hadley 6 1/2" tall Canister (maybe pitcher) that is in the Pear and Grape blue pattern. This pattern features a combination of blue trim with a pear on one side and a bunch of blue grapes on the other side. The sides of the canister have blue squiggly lines which is very fun. The inside bottom of the canister has the words "The End" painted with a period. Very clever! As for condition there is a very small chip on the rim. There is also a glaze defect on one side of the canister. This was done in production. I have shown pictures above. I have no idea if this is a canister or a pitcher. I have never seen a canister with a handle before but then I have never seen a pitcher without a spout. I guess this can be whatever you want it to be (lol). Either way this would make a wonderful addition to your M.A. Hadley collection. Please make sure to visit my eBay store "Robin's Vintage Finds" as I have just acquired 90 pieces of this pottery.
