Description: Mammillaria spinosissima cv. Un Pico for sale here. Plants are in 3 inch pot with a single stem that is around 1 1/4 in diameter and near 3 inch high. M. spinosisima cv. Un Pico is is variety of the “red-headed Irishman”. Stem upright at first. later often clustering, up to 4 inch in diameter, almost nude, just with one solo and long spine. the stems can grow up to 1/2 ft long. It might have some latex and bristles in the axils. The flowers are purple-pink. Originally man made cultivar.Plant ships bare root. USA and her territories ONLY.
