Description: Mens 1953 hamilton Jeffrey model watch. Beautiful watch! The 17 jewel hamilton 980 movement was disassembled, cleaned and oiled and runs sets and winds great. In my opinion, this was Hamiltons' finest wristwatch movement. It is made and finished as well as any high grade swiss movement. How this company could be bankrupt in less then ten years is beyond me. Anyway...the dial is beautiful with mild, age appropriate patina. Great hands. New acrylic crystal. Case shows very little wear and back snaps tight. Usa made stretch band in fair shape. Beautiful, original baseline case included. 23mm wide wo crown. 37mm lug to lug. 16mm band
