We have sold thousands of these Valve Guides for the Ford Modular Cylinder heads over the past 5 years without any issues. The Manganese Bronze Alloy Blend is an excellent material for both OEM Replacement and Performance Applications. These Valve Guides pull more heat off the Valve, giving better heat transfer from the Valve to the Head. They also can be ran with tighter tolerances than the Factory Powdered Metal Valve Guides. They are capable of lasting Hundreds of Thousands of miles without replacement and will always out last a steel / powdered metal guide in any scenario. These Valve Guides are the same as the factory OD with a slightly undersized ID for custom fitment.
