Description: What can you say about Minor Threat? I remember the 80s, when we all had "both albums" (or, more likely, cassettes): Minor Threat (we all had the blue pressing for some reason) and Out of Step. Later we'd get the Complete Discography on CD, and then you could just put that on and play the whole enchilada, no skips, every song a gem. The whole "straight edge" thing never took hold in Boston (land of $hitty beers like Sam Adams). We did have Slapshot and a few others, but none of them could stop us from getting loaded and blasting these tunes, doubtless some of the greatest in the hardcore/punk rock pantheon. The influence runs deep, obviously, so when it comes to rocking a shirt, you don't wanna default to some crappy print-on-demand piece of trash. Absolutely love this one: the iconic band photo on a vintage Tennessee River, once a stark black but now faded nicely to a dark charcoal--very dope! Broken in to perfect vintage perfection, this thing fits like it was born for your bod (see pics). It's great: nothing flaring, fantastic texture, soft and slinky vintage-to-the-bone goodness. Tennessee "double tag" dates this thing to the late 90s (you can check my work on that here:https://www.defunkd.com/tennessee-river/). Absolutely timeless, just like the band. Threateningly dope!
