Description: This is a Native American Santa Clara bowl hand made by Norman Red Star of the Lakota Sioux. This is an Etched piece that has an eagle on one side and a eagle dancer on the other. It measures 3 3/4" tall and 5 1/2" wide. Norman Red Star (Lakota Sioux) Wi-Cahpe-Luza is born into the Sioux Nation. He learned the art of pottery from his Uncle, Elmer Red Starr. Norman did not start crafting pottery until the age of 40. He specializes in the traditional Santa Clara Pottery with sgraffito etchings. Norman's trademark etched designs are of nature and hunting.
