Given nature-based powers by the gods, Nature Boy is one of the lesser-known superhero creations of Jerry Siegel, co-creator of Superman. The Mayor inadvertently sells the whole town to Ikzip, an alien from the planet Jupiter. Ikzip uses Hypnojive music to bring all the teens in town under his control, and only Nature Boy can save them. Not your typical superhero plot! Nature Girl, in her only appearance, sets out to rescue her pet elephant Bonga from a poacher. While baby-sitting Junior, Nature Boy invokes the gods to go all Home Alone on a pair of would-be burglars. Nature Boy was listed in Jon Morris's 2015 book The League of Regrettable Superheroes, as well as Craig Yoe's Super Weird Heroes. The Jiver from Jupiter; Desert Intrigue; Conqueror of the Jungle; Trapping the Trapper; Menace from the Hills; Bringing Up Junior; Arro the Caveman. Final issue under this title; series continues as Lil Rascal Twins (1957) #6. 32 pages, Full Color.
