It blooms throughout the year and produces long yellow feather like drapes of yellow flowers that attract pollinators to the garden. The necklace pods form when the flowers have seeded and make long chains of pods. The seeds require scarification and soaking to germinate as they are covered with a thick seed coat. The plant will self seed and small plants can be found growing close to the mother plant. The necklace pod can be used as a center piece plant for a native garden or planted in groups for a stunning bloom effect. This is the native species with smooth, glossy leaves not the non native species with fuzzy, white hair covered leaves. You get 30 seeds in each package. Shipping is USPS.
