Description: >Offered here is an old and original 1948 THE BABE RUTH STORY vintage movie lobby card!! Please see all six photos, as they are an important part of my description. This vintage lobby card measures approximately 14" x 11", and features actor William Bendix in this old Hollywood Babe Ruth biopic. The lobby card has the following info. in the lower/left corner: "48/1034 Country of Origin U.S.A.". The movie was an Allied Artists Production. I believe one of the female actresses pictured on the card is Claire Trevor, who starred opposite Bendix as his wife. Actor Bendix was a real-life batboy for the New York Yankees during the 1920's. The movie was based on the Bob Considine novel by the same name. <>Condition: there are multiple edge tears and tack holes present. The card's reverse shows two pieces of old tape. The two left corners show some cardboard loss. There's uniform age toning present as well.
