Description: Up for sale is a super id'd armed sixth plate tinted tintype photo of Phillip Bradley of the 88th O.V.I. Camp Chase Prison Guards. Image shows a full standing pose of Bradley holding his bayoneted rifle and showing his leather accoutrements. The tintype is lightly tinted with gold accents to buttons and plates. Writing underneath photo and signed by him and reads > THIS AMBROTYPE WAS TAKEN AT CAMP CHASE APRIL !*^# PHILLIP BRADLEY. Bradley enlisted on 8-16-1862 at Camp Chase Ohio as a private in the 88th O.V.I. company B, and mustered out on 7-3-1865. Image comes in a half leatherette case with floral designs, and has Phillip Bradley also written on case. Overall good condition with light age flaws as seen in pictures. Image measures 4" X 2 1/2".
