Description: When its gone....its gone. Act FAST. This poster is from my private collection of rare hard to find posters sitting in storage for the last couple decades. Many of them or exceedingly hard to find. This may be the only chance to get some of these posters. This poster was obtained directly from a movie theater or video store at the time of movie release The pictures attached are the actual poster (not stock photos). This poster is show in my poster frame which is lighted. This listing is for the poster only, not my frame :) The poster is in great shape for how old it is, but does show normal wear from being in storage, and also actually being hung at a movie theater/video store. There are three small rips along the bottom edge. Consult pictures. Overall, still a great find on a vintage poster. Thanks for looking at my listing. Please check out my other listings. When the posters are gone, they are gone. Thanks!! From WikipediaSearching for Bobby Fischer, released in the United Kingdom as Innocent Moves, is a 1993 American drama film written and directed by Steven Zaillian, in his directorial debut. Starring Max Pomeranc, Joe Mantegna, Joan Allen, Ben Kingsley, and Laurence Fishburne, it is based on the life of prodigy chess player Joshua Waitzkin, played by Pomeranc, and adapted from the book of the same name by Joshua's father Fred.Josh Waitzkin and his family discover that he possesses a gift for chess and they seek to nurture it. They hire a strict instructor, Bruce Pandolfini, who aims to teach the boy to be as aggressive as chess legend Bobby Fischer. The title of the film is a metaphor about the character's quest to adopt the ideal of Fischer and his determination to win at all costs. Josh is also heavily influenced by Vinnie, a speed chess hustler whom he meets in Washington Square Park. The two coaches differ greatly in their approaches to chess, and Pandolfini is upset that Josh continues to adopt the methods of Vinnie. The main conflict in the film arises when Josh refuses to accept Pandolfini's misanthropic frame of reference. Josh then goes on to win on his own terms.Max Pomeranc as Josh WaitzkinJoe Mantegna as Fred WaitzkinJoan Allen as Bonnie WaitzkinBen Kingsley as Bruce PandolfiniLaurence Fishburne as VinnieMichael Nirenberg as Jonathan PoeRobert Stephens as Poe's teacherDavid Paymer as KalevHal Scardino as Morgan PehmeAustin Pendleton as Asa HoffmannVasek Simek as Russian playerWilliam H.
