Description: This Buy-It-Now Listing is for an original named WW2 AAF Officer B-4 Garment Bag plus several air-to-air photographs taken during a mission with his B-25 Mitchell bomber squadron. The 22” x 17” framed B-25 squadron photograph and the three 5” x 7” photographs are all original photos taken during WW2 and are not modern reprints. These items were found at a local Wilmington, Delaware area estate sale. Unfortunately, no family members were present, so I was unable to determine where this B-25 unit was operating. All the B-25’s appearing in the photographs are in bare metal finish and display large tail codes on their vertical stabilizers. On one of the aircraft, both the tail code GE6 and aircraft number 430787 are clearly visible. Please note that the garment bag photographed somewhat dark in my house. The outdoor photos of the bag are more accurate as to color. Condition - B-4 bag is in good condition overall showing just typical wear consistent with age. All zippers have been tested and are functional. Snaps look good. Handle is intact. The two small leather reinforcing panels on either side of the handle are missing. There is a black ink streak on the reverse side and some visible spotting. There are no tears in the fabric. Officers name is stenciled in black on the front. Note - The B-4 Garment Bag and Framed Photo are large, heavy items requiring a large shipping box for safe packing. Be sure to check the shipping cost to your location before making a purchase. I have no control over Postal Shipping rates. U.S. Buyers Only No International Shipping
