Description: Paul Klee (1880-1940-Swiss) “Ventriloquist” (‘Caller In The Moor’) - Original Unframed Print (Plate #6) From the 1955 Abrams Art Portfolio. (Published by Art Treasures Of The World, N. Y.). The ‘tipped-on’ image measures 8 1/2”x 6”; outermost back mat dimensions measure 14 3/4”x 11”. The original was painted in 1923 as a watercolor on colored sheet and measured 15 3/8”x11 3/8”. Klee signature (very tiny), upper right corner (photo #7). Date and title (Swiss/German) is barely discernible on bottom edge (photo #9). Photos #11 & 12 show the bio; (reverse side of previous print). Photo #13 is the reverse side of ‘Ventriloquist’ with the bio of the next plate in the folio.
