Description: This is a one-of-a-kind quartz gem that is clear with black tiny cube-like floating dots and red & black wispy lines of Lepidocrocite/Hematite inclusions. It is quite interesting since the little black minerals that grew inside the stone have a shiny metallic appearance when the light hits them and reminds me of dark pyrite under magnification.Truthfully I am not 100% sure what these black mineral inclusions are, but I bought this stone as Lepidocrocite/Hematite so I'm sticking with that. Occasionally, very tiny rainbow colors appear under light and magnification.This gem is all natural produced by Mother Nature and cut and polished into a pear shape. Interesting inclusions like these add great value to a gem and are a jewelry designer or gem collector's dream when they are seeking a one-of-a-kind piece. The gemstone is smoothly polished. It's fairly large measuring 27.5 mm in length, 17 mm in width, and 7 mm in depth. It weighs about 22.30 cts. People who are into metaphysical qualities of minerals believe that quartz with Lepidocrocite/Hematite inclusions heal the heart, releases past trauma and helps with blood flow. While I can't promise it will heal your ills, I can tell you it is a very interesting one-of-a-kind gem that would make a lovely super- large ring or pendant and add interest to any gem collection. Color: This is clear quartz with shiny black crystals that have a silvery glow under light and red and black wisps.Have fun exploring this stone under magnification.
