The poodle is sitting pretty and has a bow tie or ribbon around his neck along with a small top hat on his head. This item is small and measures approximately 1 & 1/2" long x 1/2" wide. There are no hallmarks on the brooch. The brooch has a modern style rolling C clasp on the back to close. The clasp, lock, pin and hinge are in working order. Conditional issues are some rubbing off of the gold tone finish in some areas along with light surface scratching. This is a super cute brooch that almost any poodle lover will adore. It dates back to the 1970s or so and is still in good condition and has been crafted with quality. The brooch should last for many more years with the right care.
